Korea International School in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, seeks qualified full-time EFL instructor in Intensive English Program for classes beginning late late July or August. Instructor will teach high school classes and junior high school classes as well as participate in the daily life of the school as a regular, full-time staff member.

Initial contract is one year probationary. Tenure follows successful completion of the first year. Commuting allowance. Health insurance. Paid vacations and Japanese national holidays.

Assistant Language Team teacher for second and third year students:
Taught third-year students written translation. Students did group work translation exercises from Japanese to English on the board. I instructed them to make their translations into native English and taught alternative translations for the same exercises.
Taught second-year students by directing assessment classes, simulated speaking tests, in three parts: reading, answering never seen questions, and reorganizing and explaining one-page texts, all under timed conditions.
Assisted the Japanese English teachers and student’s in English writing.
